Here's a short mix of some holiday practice in my home studio. These are excerpts from some virtual drum lessons, often when a student had to step away, or just to illustrate some things you can do when you extend the basic techniques.
This blog chronicles multiple aspects of drumming, including performance, setup, tuning, tips and tricks, and occasional lessons. I'm a drummer in the SF Bay Area, performing and teaching all around the area regularly. I play Taye, Pearl, Pork Pie, DW, and Gretsch drums, as well as incorporating V-drums, drum machines, and samples. Current styles explored include Breakbeat, Drum n Bass, and a hybrid of jazz, fusion, and world music.
